    Marklin 1 gauge 5579 unpainted diesel engine.  Part of a series of unpainted engines Marklin made back then. I bought this at a toy store/marklin dealer in Germany while on a business trip,  and brought it back with me as a gift to my Father, probably in the 1990's.  Never used. Original box with all papers. Digital.
