    the third monarch
    of Siam under

    hakri
    .  He succeeded his
    father
    Rama II
    (1809-1824).
    During his reign,
    the military hegemony of Siam
    was established by putting down the Laotian Rebellion (1826-1828),
    the Siamese-Vietnamese War
    (1831-1834), and the Siamese-Vietnamese War fought in Cambodia (1841-1845).

    According to the book "Curious Currency", Siamese Bullet Money were the principal money of Siam
    until 1860
    ,
    and were legal tender to 1904.  I will attach the snap shot of the page 79 pp of the book.
    Design : Chakra symbol and Prasat symbol.
    Provenance : Ex Mr. Robert Tye, Great Numismatist, in Yorkshire, UK in 1999.
